Statistics Wizard and its Characterstics

• GUI Tool that enables users to Analyze and Automate the Collection and Re-collection of Statistics for a Particular Workload or Selecting Arbitrary Indexes or Columns/ Tables.
• It permits to validate the proposed statistics on a production system. This capability enables to verify the performance of proposed statistics before applying them.
• It can Schedule the COLLECT STATISTICS Activity.
• It can identify changes & provide recommendations on which tables should have statistics collected
• It is based on:       
• Age of Data and Table growth.                  
• Recommend statistics for specific workload.
• Columns and Indexes that would benefit from having Statistics collected.
• Administrator can Accept or Reject these recommendations.
• Workloads can be defined from QCD statements.
• Workloads may be Imported from Another System.
